The butt end of this blank is so thick that I had to take an extra 2” off in order to fit it inside a #4 ferrule. These blanks are badass and tough as nails. Current straight butt config is mainly for LBSF, but go ahead and swap to a curved butt and throw an electric reel on this bad boy and you’re ready to tear up the swords/groupers on the deep drop too!
